LFTI Gets Ratified at Queen’s University

As of November 2012, Law Students for Technology and Innovation (LFTI) has been officially ratified by the Queen’s Society for Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS).

Ratification formally recognizes a student club as belonging to the student union.  It shows official support for the club’s mandate, and grants the club access to a modest budget to support club initiatives that will benefit the student population.  The good news came in the form of an email from the SGPS, who approved’s LFTI’s inaugural budget and mandate for the 2012-2013 academic year.

This is great news for LFTI, and shows that students from the law student community and wider professional student population support our mission, to discover new ways to learn and practice the law.  Stay in touch with us for an end-of-semester review of our club’s activities and accomplishments in mid-December 2012.
