LFTI at Queen’s Law Club Day on September 19, 2012

I am excited to announce that Law Students for Technology and Innovation (LFTI) will have a table set up at Queen’s Law Clubs Day 2012.  Clubs Day will be held in the Law Students’ Society (LSS) student lounge on the first floor of the law building on Wednesday September 19th from 11am to 2pm.

LFTI executives Nik Sopow and myself (Ivan Merrow) will be available to talk about developments in the legal industry, club membership, and technology more generally.

Clubs Day is the largest information session about extracurricular involvement at the law school, where there are student organizations of all types gather to share information and build their membership base.

Our club’s goals for the day include:

  1. Recruit up to three additional executives to lead initiatives in fundraising, marketing, research, and finance.
  2. Develop a core membership base of 30 or more law students.
  3. Foster interest in the club, and legal technology more generally.
  4. Network with other club leaders.
  5. Have a great time.

If you are a student at Queen’s Law and are unable to attend for some reason, please contact myself or Nik using the club contact form on our website, http://www.lfti.wordpress.com. We hope to see you there.
